Welcome to Living Water!

Are you looking for a caring fellowship of believers? Stop by and visit us during one of our Sunday services or for our Wednesday evening prayer and Bible study. Service times are noted on the right.

Living Water services feature a mix of music styles ranging from contem-porary to country gospel to the treasured hymns that we all know and love. Following a time of praise and worship, we listen to a message, based on the Holy Bible, the Word of God. We encourage you to dress comfortably, and enjoy a very lively and enlightening service. We hope you find us a welcoming assembly!

Living Water Women's Ministry

Matthew 5:13-16

As a ladies ministry we meet once a month in various home. Our meetings commence with a business meeting often touching on the various mission outreaches that we support as a group including our World Vision child.

We then usually take turns leading a devotional, or everyone shares from the heart. We always have a time of worship and prayer, singing praises to our God. The prayer and praise times usher in the presence of God and we leave knowing we have met with our Lord.

"It is my deisre for us to grow in everyway spiritually so that we will not just be a Women's Ministry within four walls but that we will all go beyond and be salt and light to those we rub shoulders with everyday." - Gwen Davidson

Prison Ministry

Once monthly our church takes a Sunday evening service at The Pas Correctional Institute. We find this ministry closely dove-tails with our daily street ministry from our kitchen. It is our desire to see lives changed by the power of our Lord Jesus Christ so that, when these people leave the correctional institute, they will truly walk "free" and be able to contribute positively to society.

Coffee House/Street Ministry

We run a "Coffee House" (soup kitchen) in our church Monday to Friday, 9:30 am - 11:30 am daily. We serve breakfast to a variety of people who are in need financially for various reasons. Some are single moms and children, some are "street people", some are unemployed, some are just simply lonely and in need of fellowship. All are welcome.

We want to serve more than food, but to reach out in friendship and the Love of our Lord Jesus to the hurting, broken in spirit and often in mind. Jesus came to "heal the broken hearted, to bind up the wounds, and to set the captive free" and our desire it to be His Hand extended, reaching out to the oppressed.

Everyone who works in our soup kitchen are volunteers, with the exception of the Chaplain of Northern Gateway Community Chaplaincy. The Chaplaincy works in close coordination with us but does a much broader ministry, reaching out into the community in a variety of ways.

Our funding comes from our church, and from free will donations of cash or food from the various churches and individuals in our community. We do not receive any government funding.
God, through His people, has always given us an abundant supply.

If you want to learn more about this ministry, make a donation, or come on staff as a volunteer, call Pastor Betty Olson at 204-623-3021.
